NEO X8, X8-H, X8 Plus - 009FW (20160328)

I connected the minix x8 plus to the PC via otg by pressing the Power key and the PIN reset simultaneously but USB burning tool does not connect it. why? The operating system is Windows 7 64bit. The driver is installed.
 
I finally upgraded the device;). I have installed kodi 18 but I have two problems. The first is that it doesn't detect the hd via network windows (SMB) (with Kodi 16,1 Jarvis detected it) installed on the pc (Windows 7 64Bit), the second problem when starting a movie in Ac3 doesn't start the passthrough (with Kodi 16,1 Jarvis activated it). How can I solve these two problems?

Then the first problem is solved. The second problem still exists. Initially it worked. Now I don't know why it only works in stereo 2.0 and without passthrought. If active passthrought the audio shrill and the movie clicks. Do you have a solution?
 
Hi, I'm new to the forum, I have a Minix Neo X8 Plus. 20160328, kernel 3.10.33, which firmware should install to update to Lollipop. Thank you
 
hello..evrybody.nice to see this forum back..i have got that problem usb controk set up error when i want to write on usb burning tool....tried with 6 different usb cable and 2 pc....don t know what to do .....thanks

The "project" was delayed, but finally concluded! The upgrade process and the restore of critical items worked flawlessly!
Be sure to press recover button (with a pin) and power button at the same time (for 4-6 sec), in order to have your device properly identified in the USB Burning Tool.
 
I'll stand corrected but i dont think you can from anything on this forum.

I am trying to get the minix x8 in recovery mode so I can flash the software. But no mather what I do the software usb_burning_tool 2.0.6 does not find the minix x8 that I have conected in recovery connector to my pc with usb. After I hold in a pin in the hole and then press power. But nothing is happening. So what is wrong. ?

Is the minix x8 dead or what is the problem, can anyone tell me whats wrong witht his or should I use it as a door-stop. ?
 
I'm also not able to connect my minix x8h with the usb_burning_tool.
So i tried flashing with the USB option.
However the device does not show then .img file.
I tried mounting the img file on my pc and it told me the file is corrupt.
Both downloads gave the same error.

I got it working with the USB Tool.
I think the problem was not holding down the little pin long enough.
 
Yes, this firmware is compatible with MINIX NEO X8-H.
This is the final Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS firmware for NEO X8 / NEO X8 Plus / NEO X8-H, which was released in 2016.
 
I have a Minix X8 Plus. I followed all the steps, but my Minix is showing the screen frozen with Minix with Android symbol. How to fix it?
