Hello all,
I got a used Neo X8H device and seemingly bricked it with my first attempt to update to the latest firmware. (Firmware was updated via USB Burning Tool to FW009 after several attempts and fails)
I have the following problems now:
- The box is not recognized by my PC(s) anymore. Neither in "normal" nor in "recovery" mode, which makes it impossible to reflash via USB Burning Tool again (tried several cables and PCs)
- Booting the box regularly allows me to work with the installed android for ~ 2 min, before the TV signal collapses and does not come back anymore. (TV turns to "No signal")
- Booting the box to recovery mode allows me to go to the recovery menu and choose possible *.zip updates from USB or SD Card. But any update from this forum I tried (FW006, FW008,...) , gives a "signature verification error" on several SD Cards and USB sticks.
So eventhough the picture problem probably indicates some kind of thermal hardware problem, I would like to try one last sufficient flash update before I put it away.
Can you give me any hint, how to escape the signature problem? Can I check the zips for proper signature myself or can I sign them again, once they are on the USBs or SD-cards?
Thank you!
Ben
