No dts

Hello my first post ....
I bye the u-9 and i try to get dts from kodi leia.When i play movies from my hd in kodi dts is fine passthrough optical.When i play from streaming kodi i have only stereo ???!!! Any help ??
I try to make a sd LibreELEC with no successful !!!
 
Additionally, DTS-HD MA won't play over an optical connection. It's possible that DTS-HD may default to stereo PCM.

Edit:. If you're using an AVR, DTS-HD won't passthrough at all over TOSLINK & you'll get no audio. You'll have to disable passthrough. As has already been discussed, you'll need to double check what format the files have been encoded in.

Standard DTS will play in 5.1 surround over TOSLINK. DTS-HD/DTS:X will not, not enough bandwidth so HDMI is required.

Short of upgrading your AVR to a new one that supports 4K HDR (which would be your best option if you have a 4K HDR TV), you could try something like this -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07GGT8FQN/ref=twister_B07F6D82HV .
