No HDMI signal after idle

More strange stuff: during the remote setup/test the remote WILL work on the Minix (eg I can navigate Kodi menus) but when you're back to full-screen normal operation the remote commands are ignored (again).

I haven't pursued it yet but I thought there was some talk here or elsewhere about changing Samsung Smart Remotes from RF to IR mode or vice versa?
 
I just had this problem. The system was never idle, I had just ended a remote desktop session. Got it back by restarting the remote desktop session and soft-rebooting Windows.

I have this problem and also the YouTube crashing problem.
 
After my last post above, I went to power options and disabled all options for sleeping and powering off the screen. Just accessed the computer after several days and did not duplicate this problem. Given that the system uses so little power and is running no spinning disks for Windows, this should not be a problem IMO.
