Microsoft introduced ‘Reserved Storage’ in May 2019, which reserves a portion of the disk for updates and drivers. (up to 7gb in the case of the Neo Z83-4)

The “Reserved Storage” is a block of space that has been pre-occupied or "reserved" by Windows for additional system files.

Windows 10 v2004 includes the DISM.exe command to check the status, enable or disable the Reserved Storage,

In Command Prompt (cmd as administrator), users can type ‘DISM.exe /Online /Get-ReservedStorageState’ without quotes to check the status of the Reserved Storage.

to Enable it: DISM.exe /Online /Set-ReservedStorageState /State:Enabled
to Disable it: DISM.exe /Online /Set-ReservedStorageState /State:disabled
