Remote that came with my U22-XJ

When I try to select the letters on my on screen keyboard to so I can log in to my network, or trying to log into my google account. I am unable to actually get to the boxes to select the letters. I also bought an A3, but I am not sure even how to get it to talk with my U22-XJ.

Ant help would be appreciated: If I posted this in the wrong place, sorry for the error.

Welcome to the forum Steve. In one of the battery compartments on either end of the A3 you will find a small USB dongle, this needs to be plugged into the U22 and it should be good to go from there, let us know how you get on.

FYI, when your dongle arrives you'll need to go through the pairing procedure to connect your A3 with the new replacement. (The procedure is actually included on the quick start guide supplied with the A3 but the print is pretty small to make out ;).) If it saves you some time & it's easier to read to get you going as soon as your new dongle arrives, the following is the procedure for pairing, but don't immediately plug the dongle into the U22 as soon as it arrives lol ;).... First, you need to.....

Remove both of the batteries from your A3 & re-insert.

Press the "Fn" + "P" buttons together on the keyboard.

You should then see the "Caps LK" & "Fn" LEDs light up.

Then, you can plug your new dongle into a USB port on the U22.

The LEDs on the A3 should then flash three times to confirm that the remote & dongle have successfully paired with each other.

.....All being well, you should then have full control of your U22 with your A3, & enjoy :).

(Obviously, shout if you need any additional assistance pairing them up etc. :) )
