MINIX NEO P2, 100W Turbo 4-Port GaN Charger

The USB charger comes with US plug with also ships with UK and EU plug adapter, and two pouch bags to transport everything.

MINIX NEO P2 specifications:

  • Power Input – 100-240V AC 50/60Hz 2.4A
  • Max Power Output – 100 Watts
  • Ports
    • 2x USB-C ports with 100W USB PD 3.0 support (5 to 15V/3A, 20V/5A)
    • 2x USB-A ports up to 12W (standard) or up to 18W with Quick Charge 3.0 (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A)
  • Dimensions – 85.3 x 60.8 x 28.9 mm
  • Weight – 208 grams

I don’t have devices that draw a lot of power from a USB-C port, but a 100W charger would be able to charge a laptop, a few smartphones, and tablets comfortably. It should also be usable as a power supply for single board computers. In the meantime, I’ll use it as a USB extension to my power extension, as with phones, smartwatches, bicycle lights, and mosquito traps, the four USB ports get used pretty quickly.

Granted that’s over the top to use such a beefy charger with a smartwatch, but I’m sure that eventually, I’ll get products that can make use of the extra power.

Hi there, i bought this charger recently off amazon and i am not 100% satisfied. Although it's a good charger with 4 ports and a 100watts output, my laptop (lenovo thinkpad x270) shows incorrect power adapter connected every now and then (my x270 official charger has a max output of 20v and 2.25Amps 45watts, so minix charger should be within usb-c capabilities), and my note 20 ultra mobile phone can't charge at super fast charging speed, only fast charge.

Good day minixpab.

Hope you are doing well? :)

In relation to the Lenovo x270, I'm assuming you are using a USB PD decoy adapter to charge your laptop? Some of these can be a bit of a hit and miss lottery, but you could try different high quality usb C cable to see if this addresses this problem. I'd recommend a 100W 20v 5a capable one, readily found on AliExpress, Amazon ect.

Unfortunately, the Minix P2 does not support the PPS protocol employed by Samsung to trigger their Super Fast Charging on your Note 20.

I believe that Minix have a new charger coming within the coming weeks that will support the PPS protocol and fix the Super Fast Charging issue.

Have a great day.

Hi Stephen, i'm doing well, thanks for asking! I hope you are great too!

I use an anker 100w cable, which i bought from amazon alongside with the charger.

I will be waiting for the new charger then, and i will pass this one on to someone else!

I'm good too thank you :)
Ah, you're all good on the cable then.
I'm using the same kind of PD decoy adapters with my laptop, (also Lenovo) keep losing them, I've had similar issues you're having with a couple of them.
Hopefully you'll be cooking on fire with the new model when it becomes available.

Have a great time.

Stephen.
