hi. guys after updating to lollipop cant find the samba sharing, is there a way to get it back or if u recommend other good samba sharing.

Please tell us how do you expect to use the 'samba sharing', so that other people may know the exact thingk you want to do, and some enthusiastic member may offer a better solution for you.
 
On the kitkat version there was a samba server built-in if I'm not mistaking. Through it u can browse or access ur network easily.

As the Lollipop firmware is final I guess there are no plans to add that feature!

What exactly do you want to do?

Access my network files easily, from minix to pc or phone and vise versa.

The samba server on the kitkat was built in so it was easy to do that. But now it's not.
Or is there a way to know what was the samba server pre installed called? Whats the apk?

The server was a feature implemented by MINIX in other firmware versions.
Lollipop was only ever released, mainly, to allow the use of newer Kodi versions.

There are apps available to acheive your goal!

Search Samba in the Play Store! :)
 
I see, do u know what's the app name that was built in maybe we can extract it!
The servers in play store is a bit hectic. That's why I'm looking for the old one
?

It's not an app.
The server is built in to the firmware!

You could always go back to KitKat. ;)
