Hello everyone ,
can anyone tell me how can i read what's written under the low tv screen bar, because i can't USE THE SEARCh BUTTON UNDER IT .
I can't get details even trying to changhe the display settings up and down. What's under the lower part of the display doesn't appear, i can't scroll down... Further the search and other button doesn't show anything...
Please someone help me please

The situation with the black bottom bar in the U1 is known since long ago. Yet most of the functions that it eventually hides are, as far as I could tell from my own apps comparing with a mobile phone display, and also a U9-H, some functions that are only available for touch screen if present, and so these functions don't show in devices where that screen type doesn't exist.

However, you can try to get into Settings, Display, Rotation, and chose and try between Force Land and Middle Port, and see which of those settings produces the best result to display the options in each particular app.

Please give us your feedback, and/or tell us what particular app is giving you trouble and what you wish to achieve. Elaborate, and maybe someone will have already a particular solution for your specific situation.

Sorry if i have been not clear, but my device is minix U1 and the problem is related with the display screen where i can't scroll down and the programs in the lower part of the screen don't appear at all, i can't scroll down as i said...
Please tell me what to do if You can ,....

Please try to describe precisely so we can understand from our side.

1-You don't mention in what app you can not scroll down. Is it in Chrome? You mean you can't scroll the websites down? Can't you follow the answers in the forum because you can't scroll these down? Is it in any other application?

2-Which remote are you using? The standard small Infra Red remote or an A2 Light, or any other? If an A2 Light or similar are you sure the batteries are good?

3-When did this issue start to happen? Were you never able to scroll down or is this a recent thing?

4-Did you change the TV set where the box was attached to? I f so, did you try to zoom in or zoom out in Settings, Display, Screen Position, to make parts of the screen visible should they be hidden by a different zoom setup?

When you say part of the screen doesn't appear... Is it because it is hidden by the thin black bar descibed in my previous answer or is it hidden by any other event?

first of all with minix i 've never been able to use the Italian network television app (raiplay containing recorded progreams) that i can use only with my mobile cell.
I can view only what appears in the display by default.
Second the remote is the A1 or A2 the one with keyboard on the back. The arrows can't reach the programs icon under the grey bar in the lower part of the screen. I've tried to enlarge or move the upper and lower part of the screen to view more details with no results.
Please tell me what to do if You can.

But apparently that is what I was trying to tell you before. In some apps the lower side of the screen is covered with a black bar in the U1, which is not possible to access. Yet, those icons are for touch screen devices, that is why you can select them in the mobile phone, but not with the A2 pointing device.

For some reason, when a touch screen is not available those icons (which have a bottom line bar in a mobile device) don't show.
In the U9-H which shows the full screen in hight (it doesn't cover any suposed bar with a black line) the icons bottom line bar that you can see in the mobile phone is not visible at all also. For some reason it does not display when a touch screen is not present.

My opinion is that has to do with the way the app is developed for touch screen and eventually vertical display.

A good example of the above is the Google Play Store app, which shows an icon bar in the mobile phones, a black bar in the U1, and no icons bar in the bottom line of the U9-H.

Now, you wonder how we can acccess those icons... Well, no idea, as the bar seems to not exist in the Minix boxes. We have to find a way in the app settings or some hidden shortcut in the app or find a similar app where these might work.
