Seems very slow to me

I got my Z100. I wanted to use it for digital room correction but the CPU load is 15-20% even if I do not run anything. Task manager alone takes 10-15%. If I run the convolved the CPU runs at 100% and the convolver cannot process the audio. The CPU speed is 3.1GHz according to Windows. Is this nice brick really that slow? My Raspberry Pi 5 can run the convolver and the CPU load is only 40% (one core!).
Probably I return the Minix which makes me sad :(

Did you check the CPU load right after booting up or when?... The Task Manager does load a higher % at the beginning when it's being called out but it eventually goes down after the background stuff is loaded or done (not sure what is it doing, have to ask Microsoft).

This article might be helpful. N100 is certainly more than enough, you have to find out why it goes to 100%.

We found a workaround which takes effect immediately.

During boot, hit "Delete" to enter BIOS, then use the combo keys "Ctrl + F1" to unlock the hidden menu.
Disable C-State option, save & exit, then you shall see the CPU usage goes down.

Simply because enable C-State the CPU can run at a lower clock so the relative % goes up.
Disable C-State the CPU runs at a higher base clock so the CPU usage % "looks" lower because the base clock is relatively higher.

Maths game, in my opinion.

What's the relevance of the hidden menu?

I see that there are more C states options (when enabled) under:
Advanced
Power & Performance
CPU - Power Mangement Control

But C states is available without the hidden menu!
Chipset, C states

Is it C states that should be Disabled or Enhanced C-states?
