Simple android?

So what if we uninstall the software on the u1 and downloaded a basic android one,Is it possible?
Im asking because i have zero clue and don't want to ruin the device just want it to run netflix

You can side load Netflix and run it on the U1!

Porting a ROM is complicated and takes a lot of time to learn and gain experience to get it right. Besides that, it will make no difference what firmware you install, the hardware itself is not Netflx certified. As stated above by @midnight your best option is to sideload the Netflix app.
