I agree, it is all very confusing , and ive not tried any patching.

Hello guys.
I use everyday (both u22xj and u22xj-max) ATV 15.2 (older version) but for my usecase it is a very stable ROM (i read something about OTA updates) in the newer versions (i think that is interesting ?).

I think the slimbox firmware is already very mature (and for my usecase very stable) and it is time to the next step:
-at least android 11 (with no hardware mods, usb ports included... ) to match the inferior hardware that we have (for example) on the x35-i

U22-XJ and U22-XJ-MAX still have good specs and very capable to have an updated android version.

Perhaps I misunderstood your last paragraph. Are you saying that u22s both versions are expecting an android OS update?

I don't know if both U22XJ devices are expecting an android OS update.
I wish there was.
