slimBOXtv: Android 9 Pie Custom ROM for U22-XJ

I was wanting to update from 9.8.5 to 9.9.1. What I did was flashed the 9.9 over the 9.8.5 without erasing the flash, then applied the patch.
Slimbox's site says if you use the 9.9.1 update patch on anything but 9.9 it won't be good.

Right now I'm trying to install TWRP from their site with no luck as I read in the forum.
Some people are installing an earlier version 3.4.0 with success. I have installed Superuser.
I believe in 10 or 15 years I'll get good at this.

how can i download 54-firmware from slimbox-site?
in yandex box i see only 42-firmware and only update firmwares for 54 (something 32mb or 65mb big).

but i dont see full 54-firmware with some 600-900mb

42 is what you need!

54 and 42 are basically the same.

TV used Samsung 43RU7105.

System:

I flashed with Amlogic_USB_Burning_Tool_v2.2.0 without problems (flashed ok first time i tried).
Usb burning tool :
I used erase flash and erase bootloader.
-IR, A2 lite backlit are working ok
-reboot, sleep and power off works well
-One press and long press with power button are working well.
-the device wakes well from sleep/shutdown
-System bar - ok
-System sound ok

APPS:

-kodi 19 installed ok (latest stable build)
U22-XJ is working well with my video libray (from SD to 4K HDR).
My Mariadb server is now with kodi 19 database tables and i am using on all my clients (windows and android) despite still having bugs (kodi 19), but i like to test things :)
-x-plore file manager ok
-google store ok
-smart tube next pre installed app ok

LAN:
Ethernet: is working well
WIFI connection is also working well.
Copy/delete files with x-plore file manager is working well.

Bugs that i found:
-Recovery option is not working, the device crashed, i had to unplug the power cable.
-Options: Display - screen resolution and screen position - not working
-slimbox settings: playback settings not working
-IR remote control settings key don´t work
-A2 lite backlit :
settings key, all apps key does not work

Comments:
I like the click sound when we move the cursor along the apps.
The ability to turn off ethernet (without the need of removing the rj45 cable :) (this is nice, i like it)
I would like to see here an update ROM file to use in the GUI (instead of using usb burning tool to update the device)
I am happy with the result, nice job :), looking forward to the next update :)

Hi! can you check (or anyone else who installed the latest version) if all the audio formats work - specifically AAC 5.1 and AAC 7.1? (that's on top of Dolby Atmos and DTS-X of course)

I only have TV speakers

What do you mean by work ??
What player are you using ?

Provide sample files and I will take a look if i can

I am using sbx_minix_neo_u22_xj_atv_42_13.img
