Hi friends again :).
I received an update on my NAS DS418 and one thing the update says is this:

The update is expected to be available for all regions within the next few days, although the time of release in each region may vary slightly.

As i said before it depends on the region we are.

well, I found out that on one of my two DS devices, where I have the Active Backup for Business installed and running, all my backup tasks are cancelled (they all are Windows PC backups) and cannot be re-started. I even cannot re-connect these PC's to my NAS, the Active Backup Agent says "Internet error via syndicate casino aus. Check your internet connection... blablabla", which is not true - the internet connection is OK. And all my PC's are on the same LAN like my NAS. they are even connecting to my NAS via its local IP.

well, I found out that on one of my two DS devices, where I have the Active Backup for Business installed and running, all my backup tasks are cancelled (they all are Windows PC backups) and cannot be re-started. I even cannot re-connect these PC's to my NAS, the Active Backup Agent says "Internet error via syndicate casino aus. Check your internet connection... blablabla", which is not true - the internet connection is OK. And all my PC's are on the same LAN like my NAS. they are even connecting to my NAS via its local IP.
Have you upgarded the firmware and Active backup to the last version ?

I run 4 x DS NAS, (but I'm not using the Active Backup feature).

However, my point is if I'm stuck with an issue like that I'd visit the actual Synology forums & ask for help there mate ;)!! (You'll have the collective minds & knowledge of hundreds of thousands of DS owners, & Synology reps, rather than just a small handful here that happen to use/own a Syno NAS :).)

Hi.
It is better to visit synololgy forums.

I from time to time visit those even if i don't have problems, i like to know the news, etc.
Many users, admins, etc they are aware of the problems, they can give fast and good advices.

I also don't use active backup.
