Can you remind me (us) how to do this please, ie connect to U8K using samba on a windows (11) PCWould it be possible to add the current IP address to the Samba server menu?
I have tried the Samba server and it functions well!

On Windows 10
This PC
Map network drive
Folder: \\192.168.1.xxx (xxx being IP address of U8K-ULTRA)
Browse (You should see the IP address)
Select the IP address
Select Android
Enter network credentials as given in U8K Samba server settings
Thanks, that's what I thought , but mine doesn't show up with Browse, or if i type the ip address in , my "NAS" does though

Yes. That's it. Disable (for 5 minutes or so) your windows anti-virus/firewall . Maybe a reboot to all your devices is a good idea.Assuming you mean this Rui, already done that

Thanks Rui but had already done that as well.
But good news . I have two VPN clients ( wireguard) running on my router and I disabled them both and then was able to make a connection.
I have reenabled them both and can still see the Minix u8k
Now , any way of changing the "description" to include "U8K" in their somehow ?

of course, VPN has conflict with your LANThanks Rui but had already done that as well.
