Just to be sure, because upgrading bios is not always a "safe" operation:
The base model with 0.15 or 0.17 bios version does not support secure boot (so no win11). Can we upgrade to 0.24 you linked on this answer even with the base model?
Already upgraded ram to 8gb and to 128 gb SSD.
I'm asking this because the thread refers to j50 plus. Thanks for your help
Hi.Thank you. Also thank you for the advice about eMMC: I'll have to enable it again because I have Linux on it (and also the grub bootloader).
It took a while before Windows Update recognized my J50-4 was compatible, the windows PC health check had been run and it confirmed the system was ready. Pondering for a few days and thinking I would ask some questions here as to why I was being told in the Updates section that the PC did not meet requirements I was pleased to find this morning that Updates have confirmed the PC is ready to receive update Win 11 when roll out begins. The base model J50C-4 can be upgraded from v0.15 or v0.17 bios version to v0.24. If you have upgraded RAM to 8GB and 128GB SSD, you can upgrade to Win11.
Please note: v0.24 BIOS, eMMC is disabled by defult

Hi .. Please advise HOW TO ENABLE eMMC
Thank you.To check if the eMMC is Enable, please go to the BIOS by pressing ‘DEL’ key when you attempt to power on the device.
BIOS > Chipset > South Cluster Configuration > SCC eMMC Support > Enable > Save and Exit.
Please note: base model J50C-4 and J50C-4 64GB are built-in 32GB and 64GB eMMC storage. J50C-4 Plus / J50C-4 Max does not built-in eMMC.
J50C-4 series are compatible with Win11, Base Model J50C-4 with 4GB/32GB eMMC, precautions when upgrading to Win11.
1. Must be upgraded to 8GB RAM.
2. If possible, 128GB SSD
3. The BIOS version (Project Version) must be updated to v0.24. ***If the BIOS version is v0.10, it is not recommended to update to v0.24. because your device may become bricked.***
The BIOS version v0.24 of the J50C-4 series supporting Win11 is here:

If you have a Plus model it shouldn't have v0.10Does this mean J5OC-4 Plus models running v0.10 of the BIOS are stuck on Win10?
It is recommended to update from v0.10 to v0.17 before updating to v0.24
