My Minix NEO U9-H box loads to the start screen and then goes off leaving the blue power indicator light on. I have restarted the box severally and does the same thing all over again. Could it be a software or an electrical issue (I recently purchased a new PSU/ power adapter (5 volts 2A)?

I don't know if it is a hardware issue.
Is not PSU (i think) because you bought a new one.

First if you can do a factory reset and see if it works.

you may have lost the correct TV resolution... just try whilst powered on ( both TV amd minix) unplugging the hdmi lead from the back of either , wait a minute and then replug the hdmi lead.
You could also try a different TV if you have one.
