My only suggestion is switch everything off and back on again.
Clear data from the Remote app and force stop.
Then try again.

Do you need to have your U9-H connected via WiFi or can you use Ethernet?

One thing to note is if you are using WiFi make sure to switch Off Ethernet in Settings.
I found this can be an issue sometimes!

Thank you for your support, but... still nothing :(
Just to make sure, and since it really seems that you did everything right:

in the phone screen, bottom line of the app, did you press the middle button, and in the circle that comes up in the bottom left, did you choose the mouse picture and didn't see the black arrow?

Is that the thing that is not happening?

He isn't getting that far! He cannot connect/find the device.

PS Welcome back! :)

so he is not getting the Minix internal network ip immediately displayed as he opens the app? That is odd, since he mentions the A remotes work...

(Thanks Villa, I missed you guys a lot :))

I tried using another android smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S7). Not a phone problem.
I tried using another network (I have a secondary backup network at home). Not a router problem.
I tried adding the IP address manually. Also nothing.
Remote control for android didn't work at all. The A3 remote or wireless mouse work fine... What's wrong with my NEO U9-H?
sorry i dont use the andorid app but as you mentioned you have two networks have you ensured that both the phone and the u9-h are on the same LAN network ?
