I am very sorry for the trouble caused.

Please download the firmware from below link:

https://files.theminixforum.com/shared/firmwares/U22-XJ-V003-Android_9.0-20200430.7z

And download Amlogic USB Burning Tool v2.2.0 from below link:

https://files.theminixforum.com/shared/tools/Amlogic-USB_Burning_Tool_v2.2.0.zip

Then manually install the firmware by carefully following attached instructions.

We cannot guarantee compatibility with all streaming services.
As I've mentioned to you numerous times in private message, other bug fixes take priority over making NEO U22-XJ compatible with Skygo Italy at the moment. We cannot solve the Skygo Italy problem in the short-term.
I suggest returning the NEO U22-XJ if Skygo Italy compatibility is a necessity.
Please stop sending multiple messages about this problem everyday....such action has the opposite effect you want.
 
According to our download report, half of users are able to successfully download and install the firmware via OTA and the other half cannot.
Our engineers are investigating at the moment to identify the cause of this problem and we will fix the OTA update system ASAP.

Hi John

What about those of us who use a Mac?
Do you have any instructions for Mac users to update the firmware? Sorry, just read your FOTA update. Box arriving tomorrow. So, will gtry FOTA update then. If it does not work, will have to figure out a way of getting hold of a windows based pC for the job.

Hi John

My box is due to arrive tomorrow. Noting your comments above, do you recommend me waiting for another update fix, before plugging in the U22.
I am in no hurry now to use the new box and willcontinue with the U9h.

Updated manually this morning, worked from first try.
Just make sure you follow these step written at the beginning of the instructions :
Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘MCU Settings’, and switch the “Enable auto start system when plug in” to OFF state

I presume, one can still try to use the built in FOTA as a first attempt, before using the burning tool method?
 
Yes, you have nothing to loose except a few minutes. I tried it 4 times and it didn't work.

@MINIX - John my system downloaded the file successfully but when installing it ran fast (a few seconds ) to around 30% (green) of the progress bar and rebooted to the bootloader screen. Same behavior in all 4 tries. Also I reset the system to factory and downloaded again the update package but the same result.
Unfortunately to download manually from your link takes really long, ~6h ( 20kbps speed ), maybe you could move the package to a location on another server.
