I would agree with both of you if you could explain away the fact that myself and others can connect on the same firmware as the two of you. I would lean more towards the fact that your units have a bluetooth fault. My advice is the same as I gave before apart from step two because you have already confirmed this:

Interesting, yours is showing up as a headset not a controller, I have no idea why though?

Do you have anything plugged into the 3.5mm port of the Dualshock 4? I had a snap on Bluetooth keyboard for my Dualshock 4 that had a 3.5mm headset pass-through that caused the DS4 to report as a Bluetooth audio device.

Nope nothing. Bluetooth is definitely working on my Minix U22 though as when trying to pair it will pick up other Bluetooth item around me. It connected to my Bluetooth speaker ok and finds phones in the surrounding immediate area. So i got to thinking i then used my phone charging cable and made it a wired connection to the Minix and that did seem to work ok but that is not what i want nor require. I simply want to use my Ps4 pad on the Minix to play an emulated game called SCRAMBLE from 1981. SIMPLES but anything bar simple! Definitely a problem that Minix themselves need to look at and include the fix in the new U22 over the air update!

How do I put this politely as members have complained about my replies in the past, hopefully with you being an Ozzy you can take it like a man and not like the delicate little petals who have complained before.
You have confirmed other bluetooth devices connect, myself and others have confirmed our controllers connect so this has nothing to do with Minix and everything to do with your controllers, may I suggest you go to the PSN forum and look for answers there. Short of you shipping your controller to Minix there is nothing more they can do.
If gaming is your main reason for purchasing the U22 then I suggest you return it and go for the more expensive competitor box that is designed more towards that way

If your reference is to the shield then i have owned him since day one to. I purchased the U22 for torrenting, steaming and android play store gaming plus i like the pure tablet style android experience with total FREEDOM in all one chooses to do. I want to use emulators on him with a wireless Ps4 controller for retro gaming was my main aim as it was when i got my Neo X7 on day one release but never made that work in this way either. Thought all my prayers were answered with this new 4gm ram Minix Android U22 release but same problems again from the X7 all these years later. Well gutted... But saying all that i do very much appreciate your replys as there is no one out here in the outback that can help me out for miles in every direction!
