What's wrong when your box just come and show the minix and Android on the screen and when push the power button to turn the box off and it won't cut off

Hi Tracey,
You have multiple options for shutting down your U9-H.
1. If you're just using the MINIX Metro launcher, select all apps & choose "power menu". From there, simply select "power off" & your U9-H will shutdown.
2. Enter U9-H settings, then select "power key definition". If you so desire you can select "shutdown" & when you use the power key on the remote the U9-H should immediately shut down.
3. Pull the power cord out of the back or switch off at the wall

Like @ArcticWolf said you have that options.
If you press IR power button (for example) by default the device goes to sleep mode instead of shutdown (but you can change that).
Another option is long press with power button and you have these options:
-restart
-sleep
-shutdown

I've tried that and nothing happens...The box just shows the screen with the Minix and Android pic...It won't go into the next screen with the luncher or settings...I've pushed the rest button still won't do anything...It started doing that after I tried upgrading the program to 7.1 forum

Can you please be clear here!!! Have you attempted to flash the device to the 7.1.2 CE ROM?
Before you go that far first try connecting your U9-H to another TV/monitor if available.
It may successfully start up. If it does, enter the display settings & ensure they're set to auto. Hopefully, you should then be able to reconnect your U9-H to your preferred TV again.
If that fails, then you may have to re-flash the device (again).

@ArcticWolf it is a idea connecting to another TV but in my opinion connecting to another TV is only needed (or option) when there no image.
@Tracey Evans can try that but i think it will not work.

We really need more information from the OP!!
Unfortunately, we're ultimately replying with very limited information given. We're still not 100% clear of exactly what is going on yet either. However, yes agreed, if the device is stuck at the Android splash screen chances are it is a bad flash to the CE ROM & it'll need doing again properly.
@Tracey Evans , are you getting the initial Android splash screen followed by the flashing MINIX then a completely blank display?
Or, is the device just stuck at the initial Android splash screen, or with an image similar to this one?
Please give as much information as possible as to what you've done with your U9-H & please be clearer with your replies if you can!! The more information you give us, hopefully the sooner we can work out what's gone wrong.

OK ... Once I put it on this is the screen it stays on and will not go to another screen...So I try to put it off from the power button or remote it still won't change or power off...It's the screen that shows when u first put it on that shows Minix and the Android symbol under it...

Can this box be sent off to be fixed...
The picture you describe os the boot loader. If it's stuck there, it means the device doesn' find a valid OS to boot. The suggestions @notrui made should help you recover. Did you try those?
Do you have an SD card or USB drive inserted? Try removing those and see what happens.
