What type? Also might be a stupid question.. but is the antenna properly attached ?Hello.
I would like to pair a Bose bluetooth headset with minix neo u1, but when i try to link them, it fails.
Any clue what else could i try to get them paired.
Will try my bose quit comfort 35 later.Well i also thought about it, but the thing is wifi networks are discovered without any issue..... are they using the same antenna and device right?
Im trying to pair a headset Soundlink II AE2. I updated the Bose firmware and the Neo U1 firmware too.... i also posted in Bose forum.

Have you to check the location status is "on"?
Bose's power/bluetooth button is set to “Bluetooth” position? Can find other Bluetooth devices? (eg: Bluetooth mouse or mobile phone). If yes, try to clear the headphone memory. (see attach) If you still can't find Bose, I think it may be a compatibility issue.
Please check that you followed all these steps:
1. You turned on the headset getting a blue and a green lights in the bluetooth and battery leds.
2. Press the large "Multifunction" button on the side and the "plus sign" button simultaniously until the blue led turns purple.
I cant get the purple led...
When pairing with other devices i get a blinking blue light.Purple led is mandatory, that is what defines the headset to be in pairing mode.
I am now very confused about that menu that you get prompted for enabling location for all the apps. Never saw that to happen with any headphones being paired. No idea what that can be...
Mines are the Soundlink II model. I guess they changed the purple led. I paired them before with 2 samsung phones and 1 asus laptop and never got a purple light....The blue blinking led is the initial condition, you have to go into pairing mode as in the video below. Please note the video doesn't concern a Minix box, I chose it to show the required purple led mode, as far as I can read over and over I couldn't find anyone saying it can be paired without it.

Yes i already did by pressing 10 seconds and clearing all the devices list.Have you tried the Bose reset procedure for the headphones?
I recall, since it seems that the bluetooth in the Minix ocasionally detects the headphones and sometimes it doesn't, that trying to deal with bluetooth devices very close to a wifi router or USB3 connections is told to cause interferences, could that be it?...
Or your antenna is not properly attached. Try to reattach it. Possible it will work better.Hello again.
Seems pairing problem was indeed an interference issue. i placed the headset just on top the Minix and paired perfectly.
But i guess im cursed with this topic, and i still cant hear anything.
Should i selected in the output audio menu? there i can only see Auto and HDMI. And im not sure Minix has detected the Bose properly... it shows the headphones with a joystick icon....
