Picture mode problem - continuous flashing between modes

I bought a top range 4k HDMI cable and updated FOTA to v006a successfully (thank you for putting me right)… the on- off flashing still occurs at 4k2k-60hz but is stable at 1080p-60hz … I think I shall stick with this ??

did you forget to use the correct HDMI port on the LG...it really shouldnt be flashing on 4K

I don’t believe it … moved the hdmi from nr1 to nr2 socket and can now use 2160p60hz settings you suggested with no on/off flashing. (the LG settings are a nightmare to get right for all inputs however)

Well … call me stupid … I was not aware there was an HDMI 4k port … it was obscured by the coil of ethernet cable taped helpfully over the port.. Have now connected to this and have the 4k settings on the minix without flashing. Haven’t changed other Minix settings and have good picture (studio shots ie news etc seem lacking depth of focus) should I tinker with the Minix settings?

use the minix settings I posted

rest is down to the picture mode setting and any customisation you may do for your LG OLED

you may want to look at Rtings site for some general guidance.

For example I have an LG C9 so i looked here >> https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c9-oled/settings
