Really looking forward to seeing the ATV version. I may upgrade my 2nd box to that and see if I prefer it over your other one. Cheers for the hard work.

How did you compile the kernel do you have Marshmallow SDK for Amlogic S905, btw new minix forum website is quite a good revamp, plain beautiful.

Hi, firstly i would like to thank you for producing this excellent ROM. It works great, infact amazing! (IMO, even better than the original AM1 firmware)

I am wanting to modify/tweak it further, however, i am having trouble in doing so.
I was hoping you could help point me in the right direction.

In the past i have always used the AML customization tool, which is supposed to be compatible up until Android 6.
Your IMG doesnt seem to work with the customization tool > it successfully unpacks it , however, when attempting to repack it, it provides an IMG which is half the size of the original ( i suspect a corrupt system.PARTITION ). It appears that you have used a different method to repack the IMG

Is there a new tool or github page where i can find the right tools to develop roms (repack) ?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated (if you would like to know what im trying to do, please PM me)

@JJ-KwiK Thanks for replying, and apologies for the delay :)

Very strange!! I had already tried with this tool initially, v5.5.0; it successfully unpacks your IMG, but when repacking the IMG, it creates a larger image which does not flash onto the device (error in USB burning tool) - it appears that the tool creates a corrupt IMG. I have read similar issues about this tool with version 5. Which version are you using ?

Now i'm thinking that you must be working from your original project folder. I believe that if you attempt to unpack your latest IMG and then repack it again (without making any modifications) it will not work anymore. It seems that its working only if you re-load your project into the tool, and create new IMG's that way, with any new changes.

In saying that, if that sounds about right to you, would it be possible to ZIP your project (the 'tmp' folder) and upload to MEGA so i can have a play with it ? I see you have made some tweaks so i would love to start using your project rather than original AM1 IMG.

Plans for mods/tweaks;
- attempt to fix 3.5mm port
- attempt to fix remote power button issue
- attempt to fix browser scrolling issue
- modify build prop wifi channels to 13 to better support all countries (such as AU)
- anything else i think of while playing around with it

Once im happy with the ROM, i will upload the IMG here for you guys to test.

If all is well, then i can easily modify it to a 'generic' S905 compatible ROM for all other users. For example, it can work on the QBOX S905 (not S905X), and any other generic S905. For this version, i will remove all MINIX Branding.

Please Help? After installing Android 6 I cannot connect to google server I cleared all data from goggle services but still the same.

Which one are you asking for? There is a big difference between frame rate switching and auto refresh rate switching which is what you first queried.
