I wont be home until tomorrow so can't check but I assume no because I haven't inserted one.@Barcode I'm guessing you don't have an Micro SD card in the device?

Definitely no Micro SD card installed.@Barcode I'm guessing you don't have an Micro SD card in the device?
This would mean you have hidden partition on the drive, see my screenshot of my CoreELEC USB thumb drive, the "Media Card" is readable but "USB Drive" is not as it is a hidden partition:Definitely no Micro SD card installed.
Ouch....I thought we were talking about a small thumb drive, leave as is and ignore what FX shows you, it must have to do with the internal board of the external hard drive. The drive is a 2TB disk.
From what I've read Rufus creates bootable drives. Why do I need that?
Rufus is a great little tool for so much more than just creating bootable media, it was merely a suggestion as this would merge all partitions into one when doing a format, that was until you highlighted the fact we are talking 2TB.....again I thought we were talking about a small thumb driveSelect Non Bootable
I know you're happy that it's working but just to see if there is something (extra Partition) on the HDD that is causing this anomally you can connect it to your PC and check with MiniTool Partition Wizard.Marty,
I'm not sure what needs fixing here. The drive is working perfectly as far as I'm concerned. The drive is a 2TB disk.

an excellent choicecheck with MiniTool Partition Wizard.
