Can I update T5 drives from Windows PC over the network? Help needed to access Minix T5 from Windows PC

@Barcode I'm guessing you don't have an Micro SD card in the device?

I powered off the device and removed both the Micro SD and the USB device.
Powered on.
Checked FX and get the same as your first screenshot.
Inserted the USB device and could see USB Storage (Not Drive!) but I didn't see Media Card until I inserted the Micro SD again.

Definitely no Micro SD card installed.
This would mean you have hidden partition on the drive, see my screenshot of my CoreELEC USB thumb drive, the "Media Card" is readable but "USB Drive" is not as it is a hidden partition:

Use Rufus to restore the full drive:
Select Non Bootable
Clear the Volume label
Remove the tick from Create extended label and icon files.

Let us know if that fixes it.

Marty,

I'm not sure what needs fixing here. The drive is working perfectly as far as I'm concerned. The drive is a 2TB disk.

From what I've read Rufus creates bootable drives. Why do I need that?

Ouch....I thought we were talking about a small thumb drive, leave as is and ignore what FX shows you, it must have to do with the internal board of the external hard drive.

Select Non Bootable
Rufus is a great little tool for so much more than just creating bootable media, it was merely a suggestion as this would merge all partitions into one when doing a format, that was until you highlighted the fact we are talking 2TB.....again I thought we were talking about a small thumb drive (y)

I know you're happy that it's working but just to see if there is something (extra Partition) on the HDD that is causing this anomally you can connect it to your PC and check with MiniTool Partition Wizard.

Thanks fellas. I grabbed a copy of MiniTool Partition Wizard and what a great bit of software. I checked the drive and it's identical backup and they both have 1 partition.
