is it worth getting now or should we wait? I see alot of glitches and an update already. The people who have bought one, what is your opinions pls? there must be some who have not had any issues with it ...right??
I use Minix boxes intensively and am lucky if I can make a Neo A3 remote last 6 months. The U9-H I have used up to now crashed 5-10 times a day and needed restarting every time which was tedious, but my U22-XJ has not crashed at all in my first 24hrs of use, the firmware update went great, the ethernet performance using Ookla on our 1G fibre is 973Mbps down/930Mbps up, wifi 200-300Mbps down & up on 5Ghz from a router upstairs, so network performance seems to be similar to my U9-H. I watched a 30 minute BBC programme on iPlayer last evening which was fine.
Irritating that the Neo A3 remote enter key types a 'q' or sometimes a '1' every time you press it, but am sure that will get sorted. Bit surprised the U22-XJ comes with no wallpapers, will have to get a copy of my favorite Phase Beam from somewhere.
I'm pleased with my U22-XJ, its performance is markedly better than my U9-H, I managed to virtually drive 50km using Streetview in the Google Earth app yesterday at normal driving speeds, my U9-H always locked up within a few hundred metres of trying to drive along a road. As has been mentioned, would be good if the current Chrome app permitted scrolling in search as it does on the front news page and did in search until version 57 I still use, but that is a Google issue, I tried Chrome Beta and looked in chrome://flags and tried the enable/disable option, but no help, scrolling works in Firefox so not that much of a problem for me, and scrolling that didn't work in the lastest version of the Gmail app on my U9-H, does work on the U22-XJ which is a bonus.
