So if anything has changed since I won't have seen it, but my in-laws are still using their U9-H (FW001 Android 7 CE) and BBC iPlayer.
Or like I said, download the program and it plays fine!Still working? seems like this F/W might be the only solution.

Hi Villa, any chance you could post v4.108, so I can try it?The last working version I had was V4.108
I will reinstall it and see what happens. I will let you know in due course!
Any work around? (Apart from using iPlayer in the browser)
Thanks in advance.
He can't update from the Play Store!Just use the latest iplayer from the app store, it works for me on Android 7.1.2, iplayer version 4.11.0.22750 updated 4th December
Download it.I have succeeded in downloading the latest edition of player. This is what happens when trying to run it. The video comes up on screen but will not run, the audio is OK and continues. The subtitles run on screen synced to audio. The live tv channels run OK. Any ideas how the video could be made to run
I think he meant " download the programme you wish to watch ".Download what, i have the player downloaded.
As this thread was started by you, you should be following it!Download what, i have the player downloaded.
Downloads in iPlayer haven't worked forever. Well now they do!
I just tried a downloaded episode and it plays well. Streaming though doesn't as you described. WTAA? (What's That All About?)
I have relatives with a U9-H that has CE FW001 Android 7. Afaik iPlayer is working just fine on that.
