I know this does not solve the issue with the A2 (or A3) not scrolling; was able to connect a Logitech TrackMan Optical (archaic USB transmitter on a cord) to the box & it works. No universal scroll on the button because that requires software.
AFAIK Android doesn't have Logitech Mouse software, not any inherent mouse support. If it did have such support then I'm sure some sort of hotkey/macro could be set up to use the D Pad to scroll when wanted.
Inherent mouse software would be a great idea, in theory. Am sure that's why the A2 & A3 came in. Scroll wheels automatically have the vertical scroll down, just no side to side. Some mice had the option to invoke a Universal Scroll, so when a certain key was pressed the cursor would freeze and the page turned with the trackball or mouse.
Many functions on this TrackMan have different results.
Was poking around trying to find mouse settings, and even screen resolution. The status bar, when its enables, I can only see the lower fourth of the top icons.
Anyhow, I did order a newer Logitech Trackball Mouse to play with and will probably use on the laptop anyhow. If the dongles are universal, can put one on the Minix bow and the other on the laptop. Then can use keyboard, mouse, and trackball. But I don't know if this new trackman mouse will play nice that way.
So, for now, try using something with a scroll wheel as that in inherently doable.
