MINIX's 8K Media Hub is on its way

How will it work with the right mouse button, on my Nvidia Shield running AOSP Lineage 18 ( Android 11 ) and Samsung S7 running Android 12 it brings up context menu's

I think the right mouse button going back was a useful feature until they found something useful to do with it.

Looking forward to see this new product.... but had such a bad experience with u22 XJ failure to pass through high resolution audios, I must ask if this new thing has these problems sorted out...

Ken, this is great news.

I have been running minix boxes for about 10 years. I am still running U9 regularly and have tried several other boxes over past year but they all seem lacking or kwerky in the interface or operation. I guess we were spoiled by the quality of minix.

I am not techy enough to quote specs but what I can do is say my perfect box would have effortless interface, powerful enough to drive live streaming and updatable to keep up as technology develops.

Very excited on the news and will definitely purchase one or several upon release.

It was your devotion to the community and, as you said, not just producing a cheap generic android box that made me devote a lot of my free time to running the old forums. I will definitely be buying one and hopefully be contributing to this great community once again.

Comparing the Mali-G57 to the Mali-G52 that's in my little Abernic RG505. I think we should be able to get full speed PS2 and Gamecube/Wii emulation 😁

I have owned 4 minix devices and really delighted that you are deciding to re enter the market.

One item for your consideration: U22xj had display size/font ability to change. This was not available on U22xj max. But after contacting Alex@minix, you provided me with a patch, which is excellent.

I recently bought a Ugoos AM 8, which has many great features.
But still has a few minor issues. And I will be eager to consider your new device.

I have u9H since around 2018 ..been great but last year seems really slow to boot up ..even just to watch you tube takes like 5 mins before working right.

I tried clearing cache on YT ..which helps slightly ....im not very tech minded anything else i can do easily to improve it?

In any case i will buy this new unit when it comes out .thanks Ken.
