My opinion is Yes, when it's ready!
The Dev. team are not MINIX employees and are doing this while carrying on with their day to day lives....please remember this !

I will most likely stick with android 6,it has been running flawless for me and does whatever I need it to do,no need to change over just to have the latest firmware and risk running into issues.

I was once hauled up by our CEO and asked when a certain phase of the project i was managing that was running late would be finished.
